About the Recipe

Okay, hear us out—peanut butter in a latte? With tea? It might sound a little out there, but trust us, this cozy, creamy, and lightly spiced drink is pure magic. The rich nuttiness of peanut butter, the warmth of cinnamon, and the bold depth of your favorite strong black tea from Cup'ital Tea (just skip the Earl Grey!) come together in a way you wouldn’t expect—but totally need to try. Don’t knock it till you sip it!

Ingredients

Ingredients

  • 1 cup water

  • 1 tablespoon Blackberry Black Tea (loose leaf, from Cup'ital Tea)

  • 1 cup milk (dairy or non-dairy alternative)

  • 1 tablespoon creamy peanut butter

  • 1 tablespoon honey or light brown sugar (adjust to taste)

  • ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon

  • ¼ teaspoon vanilla extract

  • A pinch of salt (to taste)

  • A pinch of nutmeg

  • Whipped cream (optional, for topping)

  • Extra cinnamon or crushed peanuts (for garnish)

Preparation

Instructions

  1. Brew the Tea – Bring 1 cup of water to a gentle boil. Add the loose leaf Blackberry Black Tea and steep for 5–7 minutes. Strain and set aside.

  2. Heat the Milk – In a saucepan over medium heat, warm the milk until hot but not boiling.

  3. Blend the Flavors – Whisk in the peanut butter, honey (or brown sugar), cinnamon, vanilla extract, salt, and nutmeg until smooth and well combined.

  4. Combine – Pour the brewed tea into a mug, then add the peanut butter milk mixture, stirring gently.

  5. Froth It Up (optional) – Use a milk frother or whisk vigorously for a creamy, frothy texture.

  6. Garnish & Serve – Top with whipped cream, a sprinkle of cinnamon, or crushed peanuts for extra indulgence.

Tips & Variations

  • Use oat or almond milk for a nutty undertone that complements the peanut butter.

  • For an iced version, let the tea cool and mix all ingredients with cold milk, then serve over ice.

  • Want a mocha twist? Add a teaspoon of cocoa powder for a chocolatey depth!
